Andrew Callaghan has a varied and award-winning practice as a musician, composer and producer. He has scored productions for SBS and ABC, as well as participating in numerous projects for film, TV, and theatre that have been acclaimed nationally and internationally. Additionally, he has produced, remixed and written music and sound for theatre, television and podcasts, as well as the National Gallery of Victoria and public events such as the Melbourne Show fireworks.
As well as winning recognition in its own right, Andrew's music and sound design has appeared in a number of highly successful projects, including the short film Jerrycan (Cannes Jury Prize), the SBS documentary Paper Dolls (Hugo Awards Special Mention), and the multiple award-winning short film Marco Solo. Television commercials he has worked on have received multiple production awards, and have often been listed for attention relating specifically to music and sound.
